The Paver Installation Process

  • Site Preparation
    The area is measured, marked, and excavated to the proper depth, removing soil, grass, or old materials.

  • Base Installation
    A layer of crushed gravel or rock is spread evenly and compacted to create a strong, stable foundation.

  • Sand Bedding
    A thin layer of leveling sand is applied and smoothed to ensure the pavers sit evenly and securely.

  • Paver Placement
    Pavers are laid in the chosen pattern with precision, ensuring consistent spacing and alignment.

  • Cutting & Shaping
    Edge pavers are cut to fit perfectly along borders, curves, or tight areas for a seamless finish.

  • Edging Installation
    Edge restraints are added around the perimeter to lock the pavers in place and prevent shifting.

  • Joint Sand Application
    Fine polymeric sand is swept into the joints between pavers, then compacted to stabilize the surface.

  • Final Compaction & Finish
    The entire patio or walkway is compacted again, securing the pavers tightly, followed by a final cleanup for a polished look.
